Denim Washing Assistant Specialist

About the role

The Denim Washing Assistant Specialist will support audit and evaluation activities of washing facilities in Egypt and Turkey, and help develop washing collections for LC Waikiki. This role involves monitoring processes, providing training, and ensuring compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in audit and evaluation of current and new washing facilities in Egypt & Turkey.
• Visit facilities periodically, monitor and report processes to increase efficiency.
• Establish and manage a grading system for all washing facilities.
• Inform facilities about LC Waikiki standards, organize trainings to raise awareness.
• Create and maintain an archive of washing records, updating it regularly.
• Support domestic and overseas washing activities and guide suppliers.
• Select fabric qualities, liaise with designers in Turkey, and develop washing collections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience with both dry and wet processes of denim washing.
• Experience working with woven and denim fabrics.
• Good command of English.
• Strong analytical skills.
