Direct Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Direct Procurement Specialist to manage the sourcing and purchasing of direct materials required for our production operations. The successful candidate will ensure timely availability of goods, negotiate favorable terms, and support cost‑saving initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end procurement for direct materials and operational needs.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate prices, contracts, and payment terms with vendors.
• Issue purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and finance teams to guarantee smooth operations.
• Track stock levels to prevent material shortages.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare procurement reports and keep accurate purchasing records.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
• Support continuous improvement and cost‑reduction projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in direct procurement or purchasing.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Very good command of English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
