About the role
The Direct Sales Consultant will join AXA’s Alexandria team to promote a range of protection and financial products. You will work closely with prospects from personal networks, community referrals and AXA‑provided leads, helping clients secure life, health and general insurance solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and approach new prospects using referrals, personal contacts and AXA leads.
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs set by the department.
- Schedule and conduct face‑to‑face meetings to assess clients’ financial and protection needs.
- Recommend appropriate insurance, savings and retirement plans and uncover cross‑selling opportunities.
- Maintain compliance with AXA standards and underwriting requirements.
- Keep up‑to‑date with AXA product knowledge and competitor offerings through regular training.
- Document all sales activities and ensure timely renewal reporting.
- Participate in team meetings and support onboarding of new colleagues.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 0‑2 years of professional experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
- Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High organisational and planning abilities, result‑driven mindset.
- Ability to manage difficult customer situations and work under pressure.
- Customer‑focused attitude with a desire to help clients protect their financial future.
Required skills
- Proficient use of computer applications.
