About the role

The Director of Human Resources will lead all HR functions for DoubleTree by Hilton Sharm El Sheikh – Sharks Bay, ensuring the hotel has the talent, policies, and culture needed to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and forecast short‑ and long‑term talent needs aligned with the hotel’s business objectives.
• Maintain a best‑practice recruitment process, including vacancy management, to attract top candidates.
• Develop and manage succession planning and career development programs.
• Design and deliver training, learning, and performance‑management initiatives.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll, and the HR database.
• Provide counseling, coaching, and welfare services to staff.
• Manage employee‑relations issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate employee opinion surveys and social‑event calendars.
• Monitor competitor HR practices and industry best practices.

Required profile

• University degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Proven HR management experience in the hotel, leisure, or retail sector.
• Strong leadership, communication, and commercial acumen.
• Passion for building high‑performing teams and delivering excellent service.
