Director of Production & Operations

About the role

The Director of Production & Operations will lead and optimise all production and operational activities for a global IT services and consulting partner. Reporting to the senior leadership team, this role ensures operational efficiency, project delivery excellence, and alignment with corporate standards across the local site.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day production and operations, set production strategy and chair monthly production meetings.
• Supervise Operations and Production Managers, conduct performance reviews, and establish KPIs to drive business volume.
• Manage finance and budgeting processes, coordinate monthly invoicing, and contribute to annual CAPEX/OPEX budget preparation.
• Collaborate with Global Head of Sales and Sales Operations on opportunity hand‑over, client touch‑points, and quarterly business reviews.
• Own local ISMS compliance and lead support department planning using JIRA Work Management.
• Analyse operator and machine performance data with Business Systems Analyst to drive continuous improvement.
• Promote company culture, mentor staff, and handle disciplinary actions with HR support.

Required profile

• University degree (Bachelor or equivalent) as minimum education.
• Extensive experience in production and operations leadership, preferably within an IT services or consulting environment.
• Proven ability to manage large teams, budgets, and cross‑functional projects.
