Elementary Art Teacher (Full‑time)

About the role

Archers International School in New Heliopolis is seeking a passionate Elementary Art Teacher to join its on‑site faculty. You will design and deliver engaging art lessons for primary‑level students, fostering creativity, self‑expression, and visual literacy within an inclusive, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver age‑appropriate art lessons covering a range of techniques and media.
• Demonstrate artistic processes, manage classroom activities, and ensure a safe, organized learning space.
• Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and maintain records aligned with school standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and contribute to curriculum development discussions.
• Organise displays of student artwork throughout the school and participate in school events, meetings, and professional development.

Required profile

• Strong experience in lesson planning and curriculum development for elementary art education.
• Previous teaching experience, preferably in an international or bilingual school setting.
• Ability to create an inclusive, student‑centered classroom that supports diverse learning needs.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Comfort working in a multicultural environment; fluency in English required, Arabic an asset.
