Employee Services Manager

About the role

The Employee Services Manager will lead the HR function at Swissotel Sharm El Sheikh, ensuring smooth administration of employee records, payroll, benefits and compliance with Egyptian labour law. You will act as a trusted partner for staff and management, fostering a professional and confidential workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee contracts, personal files and legal documentation.
• Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing, including tax and social insurance deductions.
• Administer benefits programmes such as health insurance and retirement plans.
• Monitor attendance, leave, overtime and enforce related policies.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian labour regulations and Swissotel policies.
• Prepare periodic HR reports and metrics for senior management.
• Support recruitment onboarding, visa and work‑permit processes for expatriate staff.
• Coordinate audits, inspections and off‑boarding procedures, including exit interviews.
• Liaise between employees and management to resolve queries and maintain a harmonious workplace.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR within the hospitality or resort sector.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian labour law and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and talent management platforms.
• Familiarity with Opera or similar hotel management systems.
