Engineer I – Maintenance

About the role

The Engineer I will provide on‑site maintenance support for hotel guests and facilities, ensuring all equipment and infrastructure operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on kitchen, mechanical room, and HVAC equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Carry out minor painting, drywall, and carpentry work, including surface preparation and cleanup.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and document daily activities for shift hand‑over.
• Use lockout/tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Repair interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler systems.
• Program televisions, replace light bulbs, A/C filters, and perform basic housekeeping inventory duties.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic controls, carpentry, and energy conservation.
• Ability to follow safety, security, and company policies.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
