Equipment Maintenance Engineer

About the role

INP LLC Egypt is seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Engineer to lead preventive and corrective maintenance of heavy construction equipment. You will work on‑site at project locations and in the maintenance yard, ensuring reliability, safety, and optimal performance of a diverse fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on heavy equipment.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Execute repairs, overhauls, and component replacements.
• Manage lubrication, wear monitoring, and parts replacement.
• Maintain accurate documentation, data records, and maintenance logs.
• Drive reliability initiatives and equipment optimization.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate procurement, vendor interactions, and spare‑part logistics.
• Plan and align maintenance activities with operations teams.
• Provide training, knowledge transfer, and mentorship to junior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 5–7 years of heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• Relevant certifications (hydraulics, diesel engines, electrical, NDT) and OEM certifications are a plus.
• Safety training including Lockout/Tagout, Sling/Lift planning, Fall protection, and forklift awareness.

Required skills

• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, multimeters, pressure/flow testing, EDM analyzers.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering.
• Basic PLC and electrical control understanding.
• Experience with CMMS, ERP modules, and productivity applications.
• Basic data analysis capabilities.
