About the role
The Export Sales Account Manager will drive revenue growth and build strategic partnerships for FCG in the Food & Beverages sector across CIS, Russia, Balkam, East Asia and North Africa. The role focuses on identifying new export opportunities, managing distributor relationships and ensuring compliance with Egyptian and destination‑country regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional export sales strategies aligned with company growth targets.
- Identify, evaluate and appoint new distributors and key accounts in strategic markets.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to optimise pricing, positioning and promotional strategies.
- Negotiate annual contracts, pricing structures, rebate programmes and credit terms in coordination with Finance.
- Monitor distributor performance, stock levels, sell‑through data and promotional execution.
- Oversee the full export process from order confirmation to shipment, ensuring accurate documentation (COO, EUR1, B/L, health and phytosanitary certificates).
- Coordinate with Export Logistics, Production and Supply Chain to guarantee on‑time shipment and cold‑chain integrity.
- Liaise with freight forwarders and shipping lines to optimise logistics costs and monitor freight rates.
- Represent FCG at international trade exhibitions such as Anuga, SIAL, PLMA, Gulfood and Fancy Food Show.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop region‑specific promotional materials, packaging adaptations and product samples.
- Prepare rolling sales forecasts aligned with production capacity and seasonal raw‑material availability.
- Monitor currency fluctuations, raw‑material cost, freight rates and assess impact on gross margin.
Required profile
- Proactive approach with proven experience in export sales within the Food & Beverages industry.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian export regulations, Central Bank foreign‑currency requirements and international trade agreements.
- Ability to ensure compliance with destination‑country food‑safety and labeling standards.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing distributor networks and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Excellent analytical skills for market research, pricing reviews and profitability assessment.
Required skills
- Familiarity with export documentation (Certificate of Origin, EUR1, Bill of Lading, health and phytosanitary certificates).
- Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and export control regulations.
- Experience coordinating export logistics and cold‑chain management.
