Financial Reporting Manager

About the role

The Financial Reporting Manager will lead the preparation and publication of Egypt‑branch financial statements in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) regulations. The role ensures compliance, supports audit processes, and drives continuous improvement of reporting systems.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, half‑yearly and annual financial statements for Egypt in accordance with IFRS and CBE guidelines.
• Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit and review audit engagement letters.
• Manage data extraction from Flexcube and Oracle, validate information, and produce IFRS‑compliant reports.
• Support testing and implementation of new products, systems upgrades, and related initiatives.
• Supervise transaction recording, capital and profit‑and‑loss allocations, and related fund transfers.
• Design, test and implement quarterly IAS reporting and consolidation processes for the Mashreq Group.
• Act as interim manager for centralized payments and fixed assets when required.
• Prepare year‑end closing circulars and consolidate branch results.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in financial accounting and control within a financial institution.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS, CBE regulations, and bank accounting policies.
