Fire Fighting System Engineer

About the role

TECHNONET is seeking qualified engineers to support the design, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of fire fighting and fire alarm systems in Egypt. The role can be focused on project engineering (mechanical/electrical) or technical sales, depending on the candidate’s background.

Key responsibilities

• Supply, install, test, commission and maintain fire fighting and fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA standards.
• Interpret technical drawings and project specifications to develop accurate engineering solutions.
• Prepare quotations, follow up with clients and support business development activities for sales engineers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with fire fighting and/or fire alarm systems.
• Ability to read and analyse technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset.
• For sales positions: experience in technical sales, quotation preparation and client follow‑up is preferred.
