Food Service Cashier – Mall of Arabia

About the role

The IKEA Food Cashier ensures a smooth and friendly checkout experience for guests at the Mall of Arabia location. You will operate cash registers, handle cash responsibly, and support the overall service standards of the IKEA Food outlet while embodying IKEA’s values of respect, excellence, collaboration, and integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Operate cash registers efficiently and maintain a clean, orderly checkout area.
• Process sales accurately, manage cash floats before and after trading, and ensure secure cash handling.
• Provide courteous, empathetic service to guests, answering product questions and encouraging repeat visits.
• Maintain adequate stock of printed stationery and follow SOPs for cash handling.
• Apply selling techniques to promote the IFB menu and achieve sales targets.
• Stay informed about food‑safety legislation and IKEA Food‑related activities.
• Collaborate with team members and the chef to improve service and product knowledge.

Required profile
