About the role
The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests at Portaluna Morgans Originals Hotel. Working on‑site in Marsa Matrouh, you will create a welcoming atmosphere in the lobby and dining areas, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for every visitor.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests, manage reservations and waitlists.
- Coordinate with the service team to maintain optimal guest flow.
- Answer phone calls, provide accurate information about hotel and restaurant offerings.
- Assist guests with special requests and resolve minor issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area and uphold service standards.
Required profile
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Experience in hospitality or front‑of‑house roles (at least 1 month preferred).
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work shift‑based schedules.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the capacity to anticipate guest needs.
