General Manager – Tools & Workshop Equipment Division

About the role

As General Manager of the Tools & Workshop Equipment Division, you will lead the business unit with full responsibility for strategy, operations and profitability. You will shape the division’s commercial direction, oversee turnkey workshop projects and build strong relationships with automotive dealers, fleets and institutional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the division’s commercial and operational strategy.
• Lead turnkey workshop and service‑center projects from concept through commissioning.
• Advise automotive dealers, service networks, fleets, government entities and independent workshop groups.
• Translate customer operational requirements into complete equipment, layout and workflow solutions.
• Grow equipment sales, workshop projects, maintenance contracts, spare parts and technical services.
• Strengthen relationships with international equipment manufacturers and technology partners.
• Build and manage a disciplined sales, project‑management, installation and after‑sales organization.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, professionally and to required technical standards.
• Manage the division’s P&L, inventory, margins, pipeline and working capital.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience in passenger‑car aftersales, workshop operations or service‑network development.
• Hands‑on experience building, launching, expanding or upgrading automotive service centres.
• Strong knowledge of workshop equipment, diagnostics, facility planning and aftersales processes.
• Credibility to engage with automotive OEMs, dealership groups, fleet operators and major institutional clients.
• Strong commercial judgment, project‑management capability and operational discipline.
• Ability to lead both technical and commercial teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ambition to build a market‑leading workshop‑solutions business.
