Head of Concept Design Studio - Senior Architecture Leader

About the Position

Join a premier architectural firm in Cairo as the Head of Concept Design Studio. In this high-impact leadership role, you will spearhead architectural storytelling and spatial strategy, transforming ambitious briefs into groundbreaking, ready-to-develop design concepts.

Main Missions

• Define architectural narratives, massing, spatial logic, and facade orientations for large-scale projects and international competitions.
• Lead and manage the Concept Design unit, overseeing senior and junior architects while optimizing workload distribution.
• Foster a high-performance culture through continuous coaching, mentorship, and professional development of the design team.
• Ensure rigorous quality control for all conceptual deliverables to maintain the firm's excellence.
• Directly present design concepts to clients and facilitate creative workshops to align vision and requirements.
• Coordinate seamlessly with Urban, Landscape, 3D, AI, and technical teams to deliver cohesive and integrated conceptual packages.

Profile Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s degree highly preferred).
• 15 to 17 years of professional experience in commercial, residential, mixed-use, or hospitality developments.
• Minimum of 5 years in a dedicated leadership role within concept design.
• Proven track record of managing complex design workflows and multidisciplinary teams.
• Exceptional ability in spatial planning, facade sensitivity, and design storytelling.

Required Skills

• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong conceptual thinking and architectural vision.
• Advanced leadership, mentorship, and team management capabilities.
• Knowledge of AI design tools is a significant advantage.
• Excellent presentation and client management skills.
