Head of Innovation Intelligence & Strategy

About the role

The Head of Innovation Intelligence & Strategy will lead the bank’s innovation agenda, market intelligence, and ecosystem initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape the future direction of the organization by identifying emerging trends, fostering a startup‑friendly culture, and driving strategic innovation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive market intelligence capability covering fintech, digital economy, platform models, competitive dynamics and regulatory changes.
• Author the annual innovation strategy, define strategic themes, and align business lines around actionable innovation mandates.
• Lead market research, competitive analysis and business case development for the bank’s startup banking proposition, shaping brand narrative and product framework.
• Set the strategic direction for the innovation culture program, overseeing editorial and communication channels to promote internal and external awareness.
• Build, lead and develop a high‑performing team of intelligence, strategy and activation professionals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• 12–15 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Significant senior‑level experience in strategy, innovation leadership or market intelligence, preferably from Tier 1 consulting, financial services or a corporate innovation function.
• Proven ability to produce actionable intelligence and translate it into strategic recommendations.
