Healthcare Nutrition Specialist (Medical Representative)

About the role

Danone MENA is seeking a Healthcare Nutrition Specialist (Medical Representative) to be based in Dakahlia, Egypt. You will act as the scientific bridge between our Specialized Nutrition portfolio and healthcare professionals (HCPs) across hospitals, clinics and private practices.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular visits to HCPs to build scientific‑based relationships and promote Danone Nutrition solutions.
• Deliver audio/visual scientific presentations and seminars to illustrate product benefits.
• Identify business opportunities, implement weekly call cycles, and develop tactics to protect market share.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, respond to HCP queries/complaints, and ensure compliance with WHO and local regulations.
• Prepare and submit promotional activity reports and quarterly business plans.
• Gather intelligence on competitors, new contacts, and market trends.
• Manage daily database entries and adhere to administrative procedures.
• Achieve quantitative and qualitative KPIs for the assigned territory.

Required profile

• Strong scientific background in nutrition or related health fields.
• Proven ability to influence HCP attitudes and build long‑term relationships.
• Excellent communication skills for face‑to‑face detailing and group meetings.
• Result‑oriented mindset with a focus on meeting KPI targets.
• Willingness to travel within the Dakahlia region regularly.
