About the role

ALS is seeking full‑time International Baccalaureate (IB) English and Mathematics teachers for its campus in Alexandria, Egypt. The role involves delivering inquiry‑based curriculum aligned with the IB framework and fostering global citizenship among students.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging IB‑aligned lessons in English language or mathematics.
• Facilitate inquiry‑driven learning and real‑world applications.
• Assess student work using IB criteria and internal assessment standards.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop interdisciplinary units.
• Integrate modern classroom technology to enhance learning.
• Support student wellbeing and promote the IB Learner Profile.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching within the IB framework (PYP, MYP, or DP).
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English literature, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
• Collaborative mindset with a commitment to continuous professional growth.
