Indirect Buyer

About the role

Yazaki is seeking an Indirect Buyer to support its global procurement function. The successful candidate will manage indirect spend, ensure compliance with company policies, and build strong relationships with key suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to obtain favorable terms, pricing, and contract conditions.
• Foster collaboration with key suppliers, monitor performance, conduct regular reviews, and implement improvement plans.
• Address and resolve supplier issues or disputes promptly.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as finance, operations, and project management to understand and meet their procurement needs.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in indirect procurement, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to work with regional and global teams to drive procurement strategies.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with purchasing tools and platforms (e.g., SAP, Coupa).
