Infrastructure, Network & Security Lead

About the role

Opella Healthcare Group is looking for an experienced Infrastructure, Network & Security Lead to shape and govern cloud and cybersecurity initiatives across its enterprise technology landscape. The role is fully remote and aligns with Central European Time (CET), supporting critical business applications with secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and ensure production‑ready infrastructure solutions for enterprise projects.
• Architect secure cloud environments, integrating public and private cloud services.
• Maintain availability, scalability, performance and security of all infrastructure components.
• Lead modernization, clean‑up and remediation of legacy environments.
• Optimize cloud subscriptions, firewall configurations and related infrastructure assets.
• Coordinate Infrastructure, Network, Cyber Security and Operations teams throughout project delivery.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between project, security, vendor and business stakeholders.
• Embed security requirements into solution designs and drive secure‑by‑design principles.
• Conduct security reviews, risk assessments, threat analyses and oversee vulnerability remediation, penetration testing and security validation.
• Manage security risk registers, remediation plans, exceptions and governance processes.
• Provide status updates, health reports and security reporting to technical leadership.
• Support audit, compliance and regulatory review activities.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, Network Engineering or Cybersecurity.
• Proven track record leading infrastructure delivery on complex enterprise projects.
• Strong background designing, deploying and supporting secure cloud infrastructure.
