Interior Designer & FF&E Specialist

About the role

Competent is seeking a full‑time Interior Designer & FF&E Specialist to work on‑site in Qesm 1st New Cairo. You will create interior concepts, develop design presentations and turn client requirements into functional, aesthetic spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts and detailed FF&E specifications.
• Prepare mood boards, material, finish, furniture, fixture and equipment selections.
• Produce and review construction drawings, ensuring design intent is accurately implemented on‑site.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and suppliers to align design with project constraints.
• Assist in cost estimation, value engineering and maintain design standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support site coordination, monitor timelines, budgets and quality expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• Proven experience in commercial, residential or hospitality interior projects.
• Strong ability to translate client needs into functional spatial layouts.
• Excellent attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication and presentation skills for client and team interactions.
