Internal Audit In-Charge – Automotive

About the role

The Internal Audit In-Charge will report to the Group Internal Audit Department in Kuwait and lead audit activities for Diamond Motors Company (DMC) – Mitsubishi in Egypt. The role ensures robust risk management, internal controls, and compliance across all operational and support functions.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and governance systems.
• Plan and execute operational, financial, regulatory, and information security audits.
• Develop audit programs aligned with business objectives and inherent risks.
• Conduct audits across Operations, Finance, Marketing, HR, Compliance, and ITGC.
• Perform cash, inventory, fixed‑asset, and service WIP verifications at all DMC locations.
• Coordinate risk assessments with operations and support functions.
• Identify control gaps, process weaknesses, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare timely audit reports for the Group Internal Audit team.
• Assess compliance with Group policies, governmental laws, and regulations.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and IT initiatives for the audit function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CIA, or CMA (required); MBA (advantage).
• 7–10 years of core internal audit experience in the automotive sector.
