About the role

We are looking for an Inventory & Cost Accountant to join our finance team in Cairo. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, analysing costing data and ensuring proper accounting treatment of imported goods.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and review inventory accounting records for accuracy.
  • Perform inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies between warehouse and accounting data.
  • Prepare and review landed‑cost and actual costing for imported shipments.
  • Monitor inventory costs, review COGS and ensure correct recording.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Finance teams to resolve costing and inventory issues.
  • Use ERP systems and Excel to generate and analyse inventory and costing reports.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce.
  • 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience with hands‑on exposure to inventory and costing.
  • Strong analytical mindset and detail‑orientation.
  • Good understanding of inventory accounting, COGS and inventory reconciliation.

Required skills

  • Advanced Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
