IT Operations Specialist

About the role

LEONI is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to ensure seamless delivery and support of its IT services across the organization. You will work within a global provider of energy and data management solutions for the automotive industry, contributing to the reliability and security of critical IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Define operational scope and procedures for IT service handover, ensuring consistent execution and adherence to standards.
• Provide comprehensive IT support across all service levels, including 1st‑level service desk, 2nd‑level technical support, and 3rd‑level assistance for complex solutions.
• Manage and prioritize service requests and incidents to guarantee timely resolution and optimal resource allocation.
• Administer, monitor, and operate existing IT systems and infrastructure to maintain performance and availability.
• Develop, approve, and maintain IT continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Administer user identity and access management, enforcing security protocols.
• Implement technical security solutions and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
• At least 1 year of experience in IT infrastructure, support, or junior system administration (internships considered).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL best practices.

Required skills

• Windows Server administration
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
• Microsoft 365 administration
• Basic virtualization (VMware vSphere or Hyper‑V)
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing/switching)
• Exposure to Cisco equipment and IP telephony
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services
• ITSM ticketing systems and ITIL concepts
