Junior Channel Manager

About the role

The Junior Channel Manager will support the promotion planning, budget allocation, and trade‑marketing activities for alcoholic beverage brands. Working closely with demand and sales teams, the role ensures that promotions are aligned, brand visibility is maximised, and market insights are continuously gathered.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and allocate budgets for promotions and trade‑marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate with demand and sales teams to adjust ongoing promotions.
• Monitor point‑of‑sale material (POSM) stock levels across all zones.
• Manage outdoor visibility, including shop signs and tents, and maintain supplier relationships.
• Track budget usage and ensure compliance with PICOS standards.
• Collect data and build modules to assess compliance and performance.
• Suggest process‑optimisation initiatives for all channels.
• Visit premises to oversee brand placement, recommend visibility designs, and obtain approvals.
• Participate in commercial meetings, provide insights for monthly planning, and compile demand‑review data.
• Prepare and submit required reports on time.
• Conduct regular market visits to capture competitor activity and customer behaviour.

Required profile

• Junior‑level professional with a strong interest in channel and trade‑marketing.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales, demand, and supplier teams.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of handling multiple data‑driven tasks.
