About the role

Join Nile Yarn, a fast‑growing brand that celebrates Egyptian cotton and the global knitting and crochet community. As a Junior Content Creator & Social Media Manager you will be the daily voice of the brand, crafting eye‑catching posts and building a vibrant online community.

Key responsibilities

• Create and edit short‑form video (Reels, TikToks) and photo content that aligns with the brand aesthetic.
• Plan, schedule, and maintain a weekly content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook.
• Write engaging, on‑brand captions and copy for each post.
• Respond to comments and direct messages, fostering interaction with makers.
• Track basic performance metrics such as reach, engagement, and follower growth, and share insights with the team.
• Stay updated on platform trends, audio, and formats, bringing fresh ideas to the content strategy.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in social media or content creation (internships, personal projects, or freelance work).
• Confidence using video editing tools like CapCut or Canva.
• Strong visual sense for aesthetic, colour, and storytelling.
• Excellent written English.
• Organised, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
