Junior Developer – Software Engineering & API Operations

About the role

Next Match AI LLC is looking for a motivated Junior Developer to join its fully remote team in Egypt. You will work closely with senior architects and the core engineering hub in Abu Dhabi, contributing to feature development, API integration, and cloud ecosystem scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, testable code for responsive user interfaces and backend logic.
• Assist in maintaining and documenting core HR API pathways.
• Identify, debug, and resolve front‑end layout issues and server‑side errors.
• Write and optimise basic SQL/NoSQL queries under senior guidance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation, API logs, and deployment workflows.

Required profile

• 1+ years of professional software development experience, internship, or a strong portfolio of full‑stack web applications.
• Familiarity with modern front‑end tools (JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Vue) and back‑end environments (Node.js, Python).
• Basic understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and version control (Git/GitHub).
• Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn cloud architectures.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent boot‑camp credentials.
