Junior Financial Controller – Cost Control & Reporting

About the role

As a Junior Financial Controller based in Cairo, you will own cost control and financial reporting for a portfolio of industrial projects. Working closely with procurement and project teams, you will ensure budgets, forecasts and cost data are accurate, compliant and actionable for senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost reports, variance analysis and reliable forecasts.
• Track and control expenditures against budgets and estimates.
• Collaborate with accounting, procurement and project teams to validate costs.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and support their implementation.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Maintain accurate cost‑related data in ERP and financial systems.
• Support audit and financial review processes and ensure compliance with company policies and Egyptian tax legislation.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in cost control, preferably in construction or heavy industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with high accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good command of English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Power BI.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
