Junior Procurement Specialist (Supply Chain)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Procurement Specialist to support our global supply chain. The role focuses on daily procurement activities, supplier communication, and import documentation, offering a fast‑track career in international purchasing.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for domestic and international suppliers, handling routine communication, performance evaluation, and minor negotiations.
• Prepare, issue, and track Purchase Orders (POs) from approved requisitions, monitor delivery schedules, and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage import paperwork such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Maintain vendor databases, procurement tracking systems, and support senior team members with data collection and market research.

Required profile

• Up to 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply‑chain functions.
• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (advanced) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with a Procurement/ERP system (e.g., Odoo) – a plus.
• Basic knowledge of import/export procedures and Incoterms.
