Junior Quality Control Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Quality Control Engineer to ensure that all construction activities in New Damietta meet the required quality standards and project specifications. You will work closely with site engineers, consultants, and contractors to maintain high‑quality workmanship and materials.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inspections to verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Review and approve Inspection Requests (IRs) and issue Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) when needed.
• Track corrective and preventive actions and follow up on their implementation.
• Coordinate quality activities with site engineers, consultants, and contractors.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of all quality‑related activities.
• Monitor materials and workmanship to ensure they meet established quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Electrical).
• 3–6 years of construction experience with mandatory site exposure.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards, inspection procedures, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with QA/QC documentation such as IR, NCR, and MIR.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
