Kitchen & Dressing Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Kitchen & Dressing Design Engineer to join our team in New Cairo. The role focuses on creating efficient, aesthetically pleasing kitchen and dressing room layouts that align with client needs and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Meet clients on‑site to gather requirements, take precise measurements and define design objectives.
• Develop detailed 2D and 3D design concepts using CAD and SketchUp, including technical drawings and renderings.
• Coordinate with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure proper appliance placement, ventilation, lighting and power distribution.
• Collaborate with execution teams and suppliers to translate designs into buildable solutions.
• Present design proposals to clients and prepare material specifications.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience designing kitchens and dressing rooms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture, Applied Arts, Mechanical/Industrial Design or a related field.
• Strong understanding of materials, fittings, appliances and ergonomic standards.
• Ability to interpret building codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SketchUp for 3D modeling and rendering.
• Proficiency in CAD for 2D/3D layout and technical drawing creation.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles relevant to interior design.
