KYC Compliance Officer

About the role

You will join a cross‑functional team that shapes Amazon’s risk and compliance programs. The role focuses on KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance, risk assessment, and data‑driven reporting to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own first‑line program responsibilities, including product risk, business continuity, resiliency, and third‑party risk.
• Identify and develop data sources for risk‑based assessments and maintain governance documents.
• Produce detailed, data‑driven narratives for leadership and board members on risk levels, mitigations, and impacts.
• Conduct operational deep dives on processes and systems to uncover root causes.
• Track and report key risk indicators and ensure internal data integrity.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in law, customer service, investigations, or project management.
• Proven ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 4+ years of relevant industry experience.

Required skills

• SQL for data manipulation.
• Lean analytical techniques.
• Six Sigma analytical techniques.
