Landscape Engineer – Design & Irrigation Specialist

About the role

The Landscape Engineer will lead the design, pricing and implementation of innovative soft‑scape and irrigation solutions for a variety of outdoor projects. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you will ensure that each landscape delivers both aesthetic appeal and functional performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive soft‑scape and irrigation plans that enhance visual and functional value.
• Manage projects from concept through completion, controlling budgets, schedules and quality standards.
• Prepare detailed reports, drawings and presentations for clients and stakeholders, highlighting design concepts and environmental considerations.
• Select and source appropriate plants, materials and equipment within project specifications and budget.
• Monitor installed landscapes, provide after‑care advice and ensure long‑term performance.
• Guarantee compliance with relevant laws, regulations and sustainability standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, horticulture, civil engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in landscape design and project management with a strong portfolio.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and team interaction.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with landscape design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and presentations.
• Technical knowledge of irrigation system design and installation.
