Lead Field Engineer – Emerging Talent Program (Egypt)

About the role

Join Baker Hughes as a Lead Field Engineer in our Emerging Talent Program. Over a 36‑month structured journey you will work on‑site with customers, helping them locate and produce energy more efficiently while gaining hands‑on experience across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate crew members and deploy tools and services, acting as the primary liaison between on‑site teams and customers.
• Participate in solving complex technical problems at rig sites.
• Prepare, document, and manage inbound and outbound equipment and products for well sites.
• Support tender processes through data analysis, cost estimating, and invoicing activities.
• Engage in job‑shadowing to develop a holistic understanding of the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geosciences, or a related field obtained within the last 36 months.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75/4.0 (or equivalent).
• Fluent written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
• Legal right to work in Egypt without sponsorship.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, critical‑thinking, numerical, data‑analysis, and project‑management abilities.
