Learning & Development Coordinator

About the role

The Learning & Development Coordinator ensures that safety‑focused training programs are delivered on time, records are accurately maintained, and compliance requirements are met across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor training compliance in the Learning Management System (LMS) and work with Regional Safety Officers and People & Organization teams to close gaps before expiration.
• Schedule and organise training sessions based on departmental needs, certification requirements and regulatory mandates.
• Process training requests, enrolments and completions, ensuring all documentation meets company standards and client requirements.
• Manage participant registration, attendance tracking and certification issuance within the LMS or Training Management System (TMS) according to agreed SLAs.
• Arrange competency assessments, analyse results and coordinate rig assessment schedules to address identified skill gaps.
• Serve as primary contact for RSOs, Rig Managers and P&O specialists regarding training schedules, requirements and registrations.
• Collect post‑training feedback from participants and presenters to continuously improve program relevance.
• Maintain accurate training records, track expiration dates, coordinate re‑certifications and provide data‑driven insights for program enhancement.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating learning and development activities in a safety‑critical environment.
• Familiarity with regulatory training mandates and certification renewal processes.
• Strong organisational skills for managing multiple training calendars and stakeholder inquiries.
• Ability to analyse competency data and recommend improvements.
