Light Current Engineer – Railway Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Light Current Engineer to join our railway project team in New Capital, Cairo. The role involves designing, updating and maintaining low‑current systems that support railway operations, ensuring safety and reliability. This is an entry‑level position suitable for recent graduates eager to start their engineering career and gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑growing sector.

Key responsibilities

• Draw, update and maintain design documentation for railway low‑current systems.
• Manage multiple complex design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Coordinate with senior engineers and other disciplines to integrate low‑current designs into overall railway infrastructure.
• Verify that all designs comply with technical specifications, standards and customer requirements.
• Prepare technical reports and presentation materials for internal and client reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Communication Engineering.
• Fresh graduates are preferred, though recent graduates with relevant internships are welcome.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, listening and writing) for effective communication.
• Willingness to commute to New Capital on a daily basis.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with CAD software for engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of light‑current (low‑voltage) systems and their applications in railway environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and standards.
