Localization Project Manager

About the role

The Translation Gate, LLC is seeking a Localization Project Manager to own end‑to‑end delivery of multilingual projects. You will be responsible for planning, budgeting, and ensuring high‑quality, on‑time delivery while maintaining ISO‑compliant workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from kickoff to delivery and archiving, targeting 100 % success.
• Control project budgets, aiming for 98 % cost adherence and implement margin‑protection measures.
• Leverage TMS and CAT‑tool automation (e.g., auto‑propagation) to achieve 98 % on‑time delivery.
• Troubleshoot tag, import and file‑parsing errors and guide vendors on technical issues.
• Ensure 98 % compliance with quality standards and maintain ISO‑aligned documentation.
• Coordinate vendors, provide contingency plans and guarantee zero downtime for urgent requests.
• Maintain 100 % accurate records in Nexus/CRM, keeping project metadata and financial tracking up‑to‑date.
• Serve as the primary client contact, striving for a 98 % satisfaction rating.
• Mentor Project Coordinators, offering basic technical guidance and fostering pod‑level synergy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Business, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience managing localization projects independently.
• Proven ability to deliver projects within budget and quality targets.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience tracking ROI and vendor cost‑efficiency.
