Logistics Operator – Media Handling & Inventory

About the role

The Logistics Operator will support media handling, barcoding, inventory, and imaging activities for a global IT services and consulting partner. Working closely with other operators, studio supervisors, and management, you will ensure smooth receipt, check‑in, imaging, storage, and shipping of media assets.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming media shipments, review manifests, barcode items, and enter data into the asset management system.
• Organize media storage and deliver assets to production teams as needed.
• Check‑out completed media from production, prepare it for return or long‑term warehousing.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all media and equipment entering or leaving the facility.
• Identify missing or damaged materials and notify the studio supervisor.
• Pack and label outgoing media securely for shipping.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move freight safely.
• Assist in training newly hired workers.

Required profile

• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with barcode scanning and inventory control practices.
• Comfortable using inventory software and other computer applications.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
