Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for safeguarding the property, guests, and employees at our New Administrative Capital location. This full‑time, on‑site role requires vigilant monitoring, rapid response to incidents, and thorough documentation of all security‑related events.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and lock entrances as needed.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress, and fire life‑safety systems.
• Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and respond to accidents, providing first aid/CPR when required.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies, defuse disturbances, and escort unwelcome persons.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and loss‑prevention activity logs while maintaining confidentiality.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and conduct interviews with relevant parties.
• Report vehicle accidents, thefts, and safety hazards to appropriate authorities.
• Adhere to company policies, safety training, and uniform standards.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Strong observational skills and ability to react quickly to security situations.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Willingness to maintain confidentiality of all reports and proprietary information.
• Compliance with any local licensing or registration requirements.
