Maintenance Manager – Facilities Management

About the role

The Maintenance Manager will lead all technical, corrective and preventive maintenance activities across the resort’s facilities. Reporting to the Operations/Property Manager, the role ensures public amenities and private units are kept to the highest standards of safety, functionality and appearance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and supervise in‑house teams and contractors in plumbing, electrical works, pool maintenance, painting and basic civil works.
• Plan daily tasks, schedule shifts and guarantee coverage for emergency and routine maintenance requests.
• Inspect completed work to verify compliance with safety standards, company guidelines and aesthetic expectations.
• Oversee diagnosis and repair of internal and external plumbing and electrical systems for common areas and residential units.
• Manage pool teams to maintain proper chemical balance, cleanliness, filtration systems and health‑safety compliance.
• Coordinate minor civil works such as masonry, plastering, painting, woodwork repairs and general handyman tasks.
• Implement proactive preventive‑maintenance schedules to minimise unexpected breakdowns.
• Act as primary escalation point for resident maintenance complaints, delivering high‑level customer service.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3–8 years of experience in facility management, hospitality or residential compounds.
• At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
• Pool filtration and chemical‑balance management.
• General building finishes – painting, plastering, woodwork.
• Basic civil works – masonry and minor structural repairs.
• Electrical and plumbing diagnostics and repair.
