Maintenance/Engineering Assistant Supervisor – Mechanical

About the role

The Maintenance/Engineering Assistant Supervisor – Mechanical will support the plant’s mechanical maintenance operations, ensuring equipment runs at optimal efficiency and safety. Reporting to the senior maintenance manager, this role combines hands‑on technical work with team leadership and administrative duties.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical equipment within required efficiency levels.
• Apply maintenance procedures while guaranteeing safety for personnel and assets.
• Lead the maintenance team administratively and technically on a daily basis.
• Track, analyze and report maintenance KPIs and produce periodic follow‑up reports.
• Monitor weekly electricity, water and gas consumption and control related expenses.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Engineering to resolve technical issues.
• Review and update spare‑parts strategy, item cards, and annual inventory limits.
• Approve purchasing orders and supplier offers from a technical standpoint.
• Participate in project planning and preparation activities.
• Maintain the equipment fixed‑asset registry and ensure proper team structure.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead a maintenance team and manage daily operations.
• Strong analytical skills for KPI monitoring and consumption reporting.
• Experience coordinating with purchasing and engineering functions.
• Attention to detail in spare‑parts management and documentation.
