Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, program, optimize and control CNC manufacturing processes for high‑precision dental and medical device components. You will lead process development from prototype through first‑article and stable production release, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop complete manufacturing processes and operation sequences for new and existing products.
• Review engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T and provide DFM recommendations.
• Create CNC machining programs using CAM software, selecting tools, toolpaths and cutting parameters.
• Conduct machining trials, optimize programs with CNC Setup Operators and lead NPI activities.
• Select and optimize cutting tools, machining parameters, cycle time and tool life.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Improve process capability, productivity, quality, cycle time, scrap rate and cost.
• Maintain process sheets, setup sheets, tooling lists and approved machining parameters.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Metrology and Surface Treatment teams.
• Support PFMEA, process validation, CAPA, change control and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3‑5+ years experience in CNC/precision manufacturing, preferably with Swiss‑type or sliding‑head machines.
• Experience with titanium and stainless‑steel components; medical‑device/ISO 13485 background is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, CAM programming, cutting tools, feeds & speeds and process optimization.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T.
• Ability to lead NPI projects and work cross‑functionally.
