Mechanical Assistant Manager – Lead Maintenance & Projects

About the role

As the Mechanical Assistant Manager at FlexFilms Egypt, you will oversee the mechanical operations of our production facilities, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of equipment. You will lead a team of technicians and engineers, drive preventive maintenance programmes, and manage mechanical projects from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and supervise a team of mechanical technicians and engineers.
• Plan, coordinate and execute mechanical installations, maintenance and repair activities.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic analyses to resolve complex mechanical issues.
• Manage mechanical upgrade, expansion and new‑installation projects, ensuring they stay on time and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational protocols.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve process efficiency and production output.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports on equipment performance and project progress.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, maintenance or installations.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant‑manager role.
• Strong leadership and team‑motivation abilities.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
