Mechanical Design Engineer – R&D

About the role

Track International Trade is expanding its R&D team and seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to turn concepts into reliable, high‑quality products. You will own projects from initial idea through design, manufacturing, testing and final delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret project requirements and develop practical mechanical concepts.
• Create 3D models, parts, assemblies and complete machine designs using SolidWorks.
• Produce detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings, BOMs and technical documentation.
• Design sheet‑metal components, enclosures, frames and brackets.
• Perform motion studies and validate mechanical interactions.
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and stress analysis to ensure structural integrity.
• Select appropriate materials, manufacturing methods and standard components.
• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing teams, oversee CNC machining, laser cutting, welding and other processes.
• Review produced parts, support assembly, testing and product validation, and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in machine design or mechanical product development.
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks (parts, assemblies, drawings, motion study, sheet metal).
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience with FEA and stress analysis.
• Familiarity with sheet‑metal design and fabrication processes.
