Mechanical Site Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Site Engineer to join our team in Badr City, Beheira. You will be responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of mechanical, HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and AC systems on construction projects, ensuring they stay on schedule and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to project timelines and keep mechanical installations on track.
• Monitor and supervise the installation of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and AC systems.
• Execute work according to approved plans and specifications.
• Prepare and submit drawings for variations or modifications.
• Obtain approvals for any changes and update project documentation.
• Report schedule deviations and propose recovery strategies.
• Oversee contractor performance and perform direct execution when needed.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality and compliance.
• Validate monthly payment claims from contractors.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to resolve site conflicts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Power Engineering.
• 4‑6 years of experience as a site engineer, preferably on hospital projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building codes and standards.
• Ability to work efficiently within established project timelines.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing preparation.
• Competent use of MS Office applications.
