Mechanical Site Engineer

About the role

Archirodon Group is seeking a motivated Mechanical Site Engineer to join its team on a major EPC project in Suez, Egypt. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of plant machinery through comprehensive maintenance strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities for factory equipment.
• Monitor production line performance and implement improvements to maximise equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures, conduct root‑cause analysis and ensure timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and continuously improve maintenance practices.
• Monitor spare‑parts availability, optimise maintenance costs and maintain equipment performance.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards and health & safety requirements.
• Prepare maintenance reports, analyse equipment performance and recommend improvement initiatives.
• Support continuous‑improvement projects aimed at enhancing plant productivity and minimising downtime.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in concrete products manufacturing or a similar industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance systems.
• Good understanding of industrial machinery, rotating equipment, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting mechanical failures and conducting root‑cause analysis.
