Mechanical Technical Office Engineer – MEP Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to prepare and update project BOQs, review designs for compliance, and support the technical revision of MEP drawings for our projects in Cairo.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update projects’ BOQs and quantity surveys.
• Review project designs to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Perform technical revision of all MEP drawings at various work phases.
• Review shop drawings received from contractors.
• Communicate with contractors and suppliers.
• Create required construction details.
• Respond to MSRs, RFIs and site queries.
• Attend meetings with consultants, contractors, suppliers and client representatives.
• Prepare MEP designs and shop drawings.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2‑4 years of experience in construction and fit‑out projects, with MEP exposure.
• Computer proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel; Revit is an asset.
• Very good command of English.
