About the role
We are seeking a Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to prepare and update project BOQs, review designs for compliance, and support the technical revision of MEP drawings for our projects in Cairo.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and update projects’ BOQs and quantity surveys.
- Review project designs to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Perform technical revision of all MEP drawings at various work phases.
- Review shop drawings received from contractors.
- Communicate with contractors and suppliers.
- Create required construction details.
- Respond to MSRs, RFIs and site queries.
- Attend meetings with consultants, contractors, suppliers and client representatives.
- Prepare MEP designs and shop drawings.
Required profile
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2‑4 years of experience in construction and fit‑out projects, with MEP exposure.
- Computer proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel; Revit is an asset.
- Very good command of English.
