Mechanical Technical Office Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to join Building Edge Company on a full‑time remote basis. The role focuses on preparing, reviewing and coordinating mechanical shop drawings and related documentation, ensuring alignment with project specifications and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and coordinate mechanical shop drawings across disciplines.
• Assist in the preparation and verification of mechanical Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and support cost estimates.
• Collaborate with civil, electrical and quantity surveying teams to resolve technical issues and ensure constructability.
• Respond to RFIs, support project managers and site teams, and maintain accurate project records.
• Participate in value engineering proposals and ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Strong experience in mechanical shop drawing preparation and BOQ development.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, cross‑functional environment.
• Familiarity with international construction standards and codes, preferably with exposure to projects in Saudi Arabia.
